Privacy and cookies
This page explains what scayl.ai collects, why, and the choices you have. We keep it short because we collect little.
02When you test a store with the grader
The Agentic Commerce Grader visits the public pages of the store you enter. We log each test: the store address, the result, the store's platform, how long it took, your browser type, the page that linked you to us, and a scrambled (hashed) version of your IP address that we use only to stop abuse. Screenshots taken of the store for the report are deleted after 30 days, and the short animated replay made from them after 45 days.
The email address you type to unlock the full copy of a report stays in your browser; it is not sent to us.
03The Chrome extension
The Agentic Commerce Grader extension for Chrome reads the address of the tab you are on, or of a link you right-click, only when you click its icon, its right-click menu item or its keyboard shortcut. It then opens the grader on scayl.ai with that store's address (or one you type in), and the test is logged as described above. It passes on the site and page path only, never the rest of the address (such as search terms or tracking codes), and for usual account, login, cart and checkout addresses (such as /account or /cart) only the store's home address.
The extension itself stores nothing, sets no cookies, does not read the content of pages and does not see your browsing history.
04When you ask us to get in touch
If you use a "talk to us" form, we store what you enter (your name, contact details and message), the store and grade it relates to, and the same technical details as above. We use it only to reply to you about your request. We do not sell it, and we delete it if you ask.
05Who else handles data
Google, for analytics if you accept. Cloudflare, which delivers the site and protects it from attacks. Our hosting provider, which runs the server and the database. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts.
06Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete what we hold about you, or object to how we use it, by using a "talk to us" form on the site. If you are in the EU or UK, you can also complain to your data protection authority.
07Changes
We will update this page when what we collect changes. The date at the top shows the latest version.
